Our foremost mission is to glorify God in all that we do. Our daily lives,
our relationships with others, our families, our jobs...all these very important
aspects of life fit into place only when we seek Him first, above all others.
Our lives should be a reflection of Christ Jesus, who died and rose again to
atone for our sins so that we will be blameless before God.
REACHING THE LOST
It is our specific mission to fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus Christ gave to
His disciples to "go into all the world and make disciples of all nations..."
God has blessed us tremendously with gifts, abilities, and resources that we
don't deserve. Everything good that we have or do comes from Him, and is
not of ourselves. Although we know it is God that saves, He chose to use
His people as a means to reach the lost. With that understanding, Sanctuary Quartet
seeks fervently to be faithful in reaching lost people for Christ through music.
ENCOURAGING CHRISTIAN BRETHREN
We also know that it is not only the lost who need to be blessed. The
Church herself needs to be nourished with spiritual food. Paul speaks in
God's Word of the body needing spiritual meat, not just milk. We must use the Bible as the standard to which the music we select is measured. If we
are faithful in doing this, our music will remain Christ-centered and not
man-centered, and we will continue to be blessed by God to lead His people in
worshipping Him faithfully with Southern Gospel music.
